Our Story
Our story began in Springfield, Ohio, where Uncle Tito’s first opened its doors with one goal in mind: to share the vibrant flavors, rich traditions, and welcoming spirit of Mexico with our community.
From the very beginning, we built our reputation on authentic Mexican cuisine, exceptional service, and a warm atmosphere where every guest feels like part of the familia.

At the heart of Uncle Tito’s is our founder, Fernando, whose passion for Mexican culture was inspired by the stories and traditions of his grandfather, a proud agave farmer in Mexico.
Those roots can be found throughout the Uncle Tito’s experience. They are reflected in our traditional recipes, our lively restaurants, and our dedication to providing every guest with outstanding food and service.
The agave plant represents strength, patience, and resilience. Those same qualities have helped Uncle Tito’s grow from our original Springfield restaurant into a family of three locations, including Mogadore and Atwater.
While Springfield remains the heart of our story, each Uncle Tito’s location carries the same tradition, energy, and welcoming Mexican spirit.
